Newly translated and abridged from the original Italian by Susan Allix. Designed, illustrated, printed letterpress by the artist. 28 etchings and other intaglio prints in a variety of colors and techniques, many with extra hand-coloring on the prints or the type. This is one of the first ten copies on Richard de Bas hand made Blanc Narcisse 180 gsm. Covered in full natural goatskin painted with leather dyes, onlaid with further color and lettered in black. Three watercolours and pencil paintings on Japanese paper, each unique, between each of the three sections. Decorated slipcase with label. Signed with dedication.

Included in the special exhibition at the Library of Congress on 19th April, 2013 for CODEX Mexico.
