Binding and book size made to resemble a small pocket exercise book. The book was initially used to teach students the fundamentals of Mezzotint plate characteristics, preparation, process and printing.

Binding: Pages glued onto a concertina paper spine. Card cover boards covered with etched image. Front cover contains the copper plate used for the images inside the book. The Mezzotints are printed onto Fabriano Rosaspina 285gms, the text is printed from a dot-matrix printer onto translucent drafting paper which reveals the associated image within the text.
