Additional notes:
A wooden box (245 x 195 x 175mm) with a hinged lid held shut with a metal clasp giving access to a compartment at the top. It also contains a slide-in compartment at the bottom accessible from the side. The top compartment, which has a fold-out mirror on the inside of the lid, is divided into four parts each containing a handmade book made up of collaged elements with a decorated wrap-around cover held with a knotted string. The bottom compartment contains a decorated leather-bound book with five signatures and exposed spine. The book is a diary containing drawings, prints and collaged elements of small buttons and stitching. It also contains envelopes addressed to the artist holding postcards depicting craft work.
