Slatted scroll of bamboo, alternatively yellow and blue, tied with golden thread. Handwritten.

Second scroll in braile on white paper with leather edging at each end held with grommets.

Both contained in an elaborate wooden container with brass handle and latch with a flip-top lid; partly covered in fabric interspersed with grommets.
