This series is dedicated to Lesedi and all the rural women who "hold the kinfe at the sharp end".

On our field trip to Madibogo, I was moved by the women who, like the sunflowers in the drought stricken fields, bear fruit with that incomprehensible pride of their land, and find enormous strength in each other.
