Print Portfolio. A Special Gift Edition in Honour of Professor Ihron Rensburg, the first Vice-Chancellor of the University of Johannesburg, 2005 - 2017.

Edition of twenty portfolios with one Bon a Tire (BAT); two Artist's Proofs (AP's) and two Printer's Proofs (PP's) as individual prints.

Thirteen of the Portfolios will be presented as fifts to the UJ Council-Members on the conclusion of their terms.

Three of the Portfolios will go to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.

Three portfolios will be available for sale towards Faculty of Art Design and Architerture (FADA) Dean's Bursary fund for deserving Art, Architecture and Design students.

One portfolio will be housed in the Department of Visual Arts, FADA.

1. Kim Berman, Field near Marikana; etching and drypoint with colour surface-roll; signed, dated 2017, numbered E.V. 17/20 and inscribed with the title in pencil in the margin; plate size: 24,5 by 35cm; sheet size: 29,5 by 42cm, unframed; creasing bottom right corner, otherwise good.

2. Rosalind Cleaver, Hedge; etching, aquatint and collage; signed, numbered 17/20 and inscribed with the title in pencil in the margin; plate size: 29,5 by 20,5cm; sheet size: 41,5 by 31,5cm, unframed; condition good.

3. Marc Edwards, Entopic After Image and Vlakplaas; photo-polymer intaglio and drypoint with hand colouring; signed, dated 2017, numbered 17/20 and inscribed with the title in pencil in the margin; sheet size: 29,5 by 41,5cm, unframed; minor cockling and slight abrasion in top left corner.

4. Bronwen Findlay, Aloe Veld; etching with hand colouring; signed, dated 2017, numbered 17/20 and inscribed with the title in pencil in the margin; plate size: 21 by 29cm; sheet size: 29,5 by 42cm; condition good.

7. Brenden Grey, A Child of a UJ Lecturer; signed, dated ’17, numbered 17/20 and inscribed with the title in pencil in the margin; etching; plate size: 29,5 by 20,5cm; sheet size: 42 by 29,5cm, unframed; very slight cockling, otherwise good.

8. Muziwandile Gigaba, Ibuzwa Kwabaphambili; signed, dated 17, numbered 17/20 and inscribed with the title in pencil; three-colour lino cut; sheet size: 42 by 30cm, unframed; condition good.

9. Inge-Lore Hyson, Untitled, signed with the artist’s initials and dated 2017; hand-made cotton and hemp paper with encased plant forms; sheet size: 39 by 29cm; condition good.

10. Vedant Nanackchand, Laureate’s Legacy; signed dated 2017, numbered 17/20 and inscribed with the title in pencil in the margin; digital print, screenprint with drypoint; image size: 29,5 by 21cm; sheet size: 41,5 by 29,5cm, unframed; very slight cockling, otherwise good.

11. Landi Raubenheimer, Untitled Abstract; signed and dated ’17 on the reverse; hand-made paper with cotton pulp-painting; sheet size: 31 by 38,5cm, unframed; condition good.

12. Minnette Vari, From the series ’The Eleventh Hour’; signed, dated 2017, numbered E.V. 17/20 and inscribed with the title in pencil in the margin; photo-polymer intaglio and hand-colouring; sheet size: 29,5 by 42cm, unframed; condition good.
