The illustrations and endpapers are hand pulled screen prints, the typography is hand set and printed with specially designed screen printed initial letters for each poem. Scott established The Peacock Press in 1980, designing the logo and choosing its name because of the peacock’s many cultural links often associated with compassion and as a good omen in Indian mythology.
