Slipcase. 6 1/8 inches x 9 1/8 in., half-title, design title-page; introduction by Giovanni Mardersteig; 137 pp. + numbered colophon page; with a printed descriptive page inserted in this copy. Hand-colored illustrations of the letters, based on the manuscript, fold-out plate, and other illustrations. Full brown leather with five raised bands on the spine, gilt-lettered titling, gray endpapers, top-edge gilt, in a design-paper and matching leather-edges slipcase. With the bookplate of Cleveland, Ohio based book collector & President of World Publishing, Ben Zevin on the front paste-down. Partial Colophon: "[-] This English edition was set in Giovanni Mardersteig's Dante type and printed on his hand-press in four hundred numbered copies by Mario Facincani and Rino Grazioli. The paper was made by Fratelli Magnani, Pescia. The twenty-five letters of the alphabet were coloured by hand by Ameglio Trivella after the original manuscript."
