Reference note:
The UJ/University of Sunderland, UK, Posterzine Collaboration took place in 2019 as part of the output requirements of David Paton's PhD registration at the University of Sunderland, UK, (2018-2019). In conjunction with Dr. Adrie Haese's 2nd -year Graphic Design students, my 2nd-year Visual Art students at the University of Johannesburg, collaborated in the making of a posterzine. 34 A5 posterzines were printed, cut and folded and, along with an A2 print of the poser side of each zine, were exhibited at the Priestman Building, School of Design, University of Sunderland, UK in conjunction with Dr. Manny Ling and his BA Design students from 14 October to 13 December 2019. The 34 original A5 posterzines and A2 posters form part of the University of Sunderland Design Teaching Collection. 15 of the A5 posterzines and A2 posters were selected and reprinted for exhibition at the JGCBA and taken into the collection.
