From the description in the Ursus Books, Ltd catalogue #247, item 10: Beard's artist's books are some of the most innovative to appear in the last several years. In this work Beard juxtaposes line etchings on top of colored lithographs in a bold and unique manner, giving the illustrations a Pop Art quality. The work includes a large folding plate resembling a stage, as well as theree paper dolls of the play's protagonists.
