Additional notes:
A "square" block of paper with text on relatively few pages all bound with a light yellow card without any title on the spine or covers. The first 22 signatures are blank; the next 33 signatures, which are on slightly different paper, contain the text and illustrations on some pages, the last 22 signatures are again blank. The first page with text (midway through the first of the 33 'used' signatures) has been used for the title but other pages could as well be used, e.g. "The Perfect Book" someway into the text. Some pages contain photographs.

The colophon (which appears on the last printed page on signature #55 of 77) contains a list of photographers whose work appears.

Colophon: © by James Lee Byars and the Stedelijk van Abbemuseum, catalogue and exhibition by James Lee Byars and Piet de Jonge, printed by Lecturis B.V. Eindhoven. The colophon appears midway through the last of the 33 'used' signatures.

Ursus catalogue 278, Number 19.
