An adventure in color, the book is simple and joyous, using the Jacob's Ladder structure, a book technique developed during the 1800s. To function, the ladder must be picked up at the end and held in a horizontal position to release the first section, which then tumbles down into the next, continuing until it reaches the bottom. Reversing the driection brings the ladder back to its original position.
