Preface: "With It was written in 1988 and 1989 , and published in 1990 in a small edition as Book 134.

The poem has been revised periodically. This latest version is from 1995-96. In addition to the revisions, a preface of forty-eight pages has been added. This is as an introduction to the poem, in text and pictures.

Drawings and photographs were scanned into my computer. These were then digitally manipulated using PhotoShop 3.0.

Ten printouts of this new version of With It were made on my laser printer and hand bound. And now. . ."

The spine shows the letters IT, The front cover shows the letter H and the back cover the letter W; thus when open the full word WITH is revealed. The letters IT are contained in all the words of the title.

Bound in full red morocco and housed in a padded drop-back box with red leather label on the spine.
