Additional notes:
The binder has signed with his stamp on the doublour and dated the binding 1987. The binding is full black Morocco incorporating a "collage" using a flattened soda can on both the front and back covers with various other pictorial elements.

Housed in a decorated drop-back box with black leather titled spine.

Thirty copies of this first edition of MANHATTAN THIRD YEAR READER have been printed on Arches paper at the Meriden Gravure Company. The thirty-five linocuts have been pulled and assembled by Mark Beard and Vincent FitzGerald. Twenty-eight papers were used in the production of this edition.
