This cloth book has been individually hand block-printed on textile panels. Each book is an original piece of art, which recreates a ritual textile known as Mata-Ni-Pachedi, or the Cloth of the Mother Goddess. Worshippers offer these votive cloths with images of their guardian goddess to herself: gifting a piece of creation to the creator is considered the highest form of worship. In keeping with this belief, the book has been designed as a cloth shrine. On the reverse of he main panel, the images tell the story of the origins of this tradition. The story then leads back to the beginning, to that which was created: the Cloth of the Mother Goddess.

Including a DVD film by Arun Wolf. And two pamphlets.
