Eva Faulkes: "Apart from the design time, each book represents 110 runs of letterpress and silkscreen, and the binding takes 5 hours apiece, not including 2 days of drying time for different stages. Within the books I have 5 places where loose, protective tissue separates silkscreen from letterpress inks on a facing page. These should be stored this way when the book is shelved, as the silkscreen ink can be sensitive to any grease, most particularly in the light colors."
