Reference note:
As part of my MTech (Fine Art) studies I explore my art making as alchemical ritual. As documentation of my making process is important, I chose to make a journal. I wanted this to reflect the notion and feel of an Alchemist's Tome. It comprises large, loose signatures of stained paper that I intend to hand-bind at the end of my studies. I have used various writing tools and inks, including those made myself. It serves as a self-reflexive documentation of my journey.

Tome is a self-reflexive documentation of the process of my making, the engine that drives my studies. It is a work in progress that reflects the nature and processes of alchemy.
