Reference note: A Triangularly-shaped book nestled in a rectangular box so as to divide the rectangle into four triangular shapes. The cover of the box folds around the box twice, ending in a triangular tongue that divides the outer rectangular surface visually into three triangles. The form of the book and box are appropriate to the text and the images, both of which are concerned with geometric triangles and personal relationships. The book explores, in a playful way, possible parallels and resonances between geometry and life, between the the features of geometric triangles and 'menages a trois'.
Every effort has been made to achieve an unusually high degree of organic unity among the content of the text, the images, and the physical form of the book. Two of the pages have accordion folds, opening out from a triangular to a rectangular shape where the text calls for such transformations.
