Colophon: Self-Portrait in a Convex Mirror has been reprinted by arrangement with The Viking Press, under copyright © 1974 by John Ashbery. The artists' images are copyright © 1984 by the individual artists as listed on the title page. This is the thirteenth book of the Arion Press. It was published in January 1984. the type is handset Cochin. The paper was made by hand at the Twinrocker Mill in Brookston, Indiana. The letterpress printing was done on a Hacker Hand Press. The artists' prints were produced by the following processes and printers: (see list above). The recording tape was edited 1750 Arch Studios, Berkeley, California, and the records were cut and pressed at Wakefield Manufacturing, Phoenix, Arizona. The stainless-steel canister was made by Atlas Metal Spinning, South San Francisco, California. The members of the Arion Press during the making of this book were: Gerald Reddan, Nancy Reid, Christopher Stinehour, Glenn Todd and Lawrence Van Velzer, under the direction of Andrew Hoyem.
