Additional notes:
"Gerhild Ebel created an important signal with her book »Die neue Versleere« dated 1993. The title was immediately irritating, as Versleere – with a double e here – pointed to something different to the usual, not what one expected at first.* She had cut various verse forms from pages of white card. The only written words on those pages were the terms used for the individual verse forms: sonnet, haiku, palindrome etc. But that was not all. On other pages, the seriousness one thought one had understood disappeared, there is a trace of humour that cannot be overlooked, and finally, an open conclusion." Uwe Warnke, Berlin 2006
