The catalogue itself contained in a multitude of containers, one within the other in the following order: brown envelope from Printed Matter to The Clark Art Institute, red silk pocket with orange ties (with the word "Art" emboided on the front), wooden slipcase with paper label, wrapper with envelope bound in with library label, wrap-around card folder titled "Printed Works", newsprint wrapper stamped "Mass Produced" with price tag labeled "cheap", paper strip with wax "chop" imprint "intimate scale", tracing paer folder labeled "artworks", catalogue "Paginations" incluing errata insert. Including a letter dated January 29, 1985 addressed to Ulises Carrion from Michael Rinehart, the librarian of the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute: This special edition, limited to 125 copies, is being sent to a selected list of libraries and collectors to whom we felt it would be of special interest. Please note that the entire work, including the "fictive" mailing envelope, constitutes a work of book art and is meant to be preserved.
