Transcriber’s comments:

Some punctuation has been changed. “King and Queen” are always capitalised. & is always used for “and”. South African English uses far fewer commas than either British or American English; these remains unchanged. There may be more than 15 pages but it appears to be complete. The few words which are indecipherable are indicated with “(?)”. The story starts with quotes, then moves to King: and Queen: The manuscript is in pencil and has not been proof read. It is unique in Battiss’s oeuvre but follows his playfulness and cosmic surrealist presentation.
