Additional notes:
The clippings are pasted onto both sides on the blue paper of the scrapbook and are largely from 1957 although many are not dated.

The clippings are about South African artists with a few about Battiss himself.

The back cover is detached from the scrapbook but is laid in. The front cover was irreparable.
