Robert Hodgins specially made an artist book for ‘Little Flo’, his nickname for his long-time gallerist, Linda Givon. He calls it ‘a panorama’ as it consists of many tiny watercolours on small sheets of paper, glued together to form a leporello, or fold-out, concertina format artist book. The intimate artworks constitute a veritable inventory of Hodgins’ iconography, ranging from businessmen dressed in their ubiquitous suits, to officers in elaborate military uniforms spangled with glitter stars. The last page contains the words, ‘That’s All Folks’ intimating the end of a filmic version of the sum of his artistic oeuvre.
