"Six photos of people viewing cherry blossoms, taken at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo in 2000, are mounted one beneath the other and are reminiscent of a kakemono (the traditional Japanese hanging scrolls). If you gently unfold the sheet, Bobrowski’s poem describing his feelings when viewing a blooming cherry tree appears in the folds between the photos."

Reference note:
Inkjet print on concertina folded paper. 20 Arabic numbered copies and 8 Roman numbered copies are printed on kozo paper RK29. 20 copies labelled from A-T, are printed on kozo paper K43. The photographs were taken at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo during the cherry blossom season 2000. Slipcase made of ganpi boards and panpi paper, title printed in red. Slipcase laced with a mizuhiki papercord. 24 x.5cm (closed), 24 x 94cm (open).
