Additional notes:
Japanese stab binding with Japanese folded sheets over the fore-edge. Handmade Japanese style-cloth-bound book with offset photographs and letterpress text.

The text is hidden between the pages.

"The Japanese fold makes for pages sewn together at their edges, each enclosing an interior space which is almost, but not quite, inaccessible to readers."

From the artist: "The book was published as a benefit artists' project for the Ink Shop Printmaking Center / Olive Branch Press, an Ithaca-based printmaking cooperative. My inspiration for the book structure was Marcel Broodthaers's A Voyage on the North Sea, published by Petersburg Press in 1974."
