From the English translation: This "Blockbuch VI" is basing (sic) on the text of Xavier de Maistre "Expedition nocturne autour de ma chambre" from 1825. The "Blockbuch" has been published in an edition of 2 copies with case [slipcase], numbered and signed, in the edition edition offizin parvus Berlin, 2010. The handwriting text, drawings and original-gouache are created by Helmut Schulze; each of them are signed by the artist. The edition was painted on 250 g/qm handmade paper Canson also Zerkall and transparent paper.

The cover is printed with an original lino1cut (sic).

Bookbinding by Klünder, Berlin.

The English translation is printed in a separate bookler with black paper covers which is housed in the red slipcase with the book.

The handwritten text, drawings an riginal gouache have been created by Helmut, and each of them are signed by the artists. Painted on handmade Canson as well as Zerkall and transparent paper. Plum paper boards printed with an original glossy plum linocut; illustrated title label on front. Black cloth spine with title in white. Black endpapers. Matching plum slipcase. No. I of only II unique manuscript copies, signed by Helmut Schulze.

This ‘Blochbuch VI’ is based n the text of Xavier de Maistre, written in 1825.

Laid in with the book is a black wrappered booklet of 20 pages containing an English translation of the best. Identical title label as the book. Both the slipcased book and wrappered translation are in a strong charcoal box with a lid.

A superb production; handwritten in black with original illustrations throughout.
