A screenprinted accordion book comparing life's risks to gambling. Photographs, taken by the artists, feature sites and objects from iconic gambling towns found in their two respective countries: Baden-Baden (Germany)and Las Vegas (USA). Seven catagories of risk are explored via statistics: Relationships, Water, Money, Travel, Career, Health and Weather. The first line of text is from a journal entry written on July 14, 1857 by the Russian writer, Leo Tolstoy, and the second is a Russian proverb.
The papers are Mohair and Cristalla from Romerturm Feinpapiere. The typefaces are Helvetica Extended and Dot Matrix.
