[the staples holding the book together, and which also went through the envelope, have been removed so as not to ruin the envelope. The envelope also contains a subscription form "R2.50 for six issues (plus exchange)"]

"PRINTED MATTER. Contents: 20 poems. 1 short story. 1 graphic by Catherine. 1 poster by Battiss."

The Norman Catherine graphic "Occupied" is numbered 337/350 and signed with his initials. Also signed with his initials and name in the graphic.

The Battiss poster is folded twice. A collage in black & white of various works of art interspersed with writers and poets of the period. Stamped on the rear: "CONCEPT BY BATTISS" and IZWI in a rectangular border.
