Additional notes:
Three books are cut into horizontal strips, pressed and glued onto a shelf. Each book forms a whole with exactly the same format as the original. The artist refers to this transformation as 'dead letters' because only traces of the text remain on the surface. Thus the artist created a senseless typed page, a "tabula rasa".
