For Sale to Subscribers Only. Typography and binding arranged by John Kirtley. Printed under the personal supervision of F. J. Newbery t the Chiswick Press, London. Ornate irregularly-shaped binding with metal, bolts and leather; with cut-board doublures. All in a large pink drop-back box with moire lining. For a similar binding see page 87 of “Un Demi-Siecle de Reliures d’Art Contemporain en France et Dans Monde. Exposition Internationale Hotel de Sens – Bibliotheque Forney, 1984. Edited by Henry Dubreuil and Andre Rodocanachi." With an inserted page dated 7 March 1955, describing how the book was impounded by the US Post Office.
