Together with a Certificate of Authenticity from Stephan Welz & Co. (Sotheby's) dated 8 June 2000: " We confirm that in our opinion, the book-sculpted object made up from two cloth-covered books, string and oil paint, 22 by 14.5cm, is a genuine work by the artist, Walter Battiss. This work was sold by us on 8th May 2000, lot number 227.

Housed in a card box.
