This object was sent through the mail with a 3 cent stamp which has the Post Office cancellation.

Marked on the back:

At Top: POST CARD.

On left (the message): 38 Highfield Rd. Beacon Bay. Dear Mr Fook, Words May Spoil the Idea. Yours [unreadable - Kawie?].

A vertical line divides the left and the right.

At right (the address): Mr Ferdinand Fook, Box [unreadable but probably "1" as the item illustrated below], Fook Island, Indian Ocean.

Another similar postcard illustrated on p50 of Walter Battiss, Gentle Anarchist, Standard Bank, 2005. The wording on this illustration is more easily readable than the copy described which has had a more weathered journey through the mail.
