Designed by the artist for the present owner. Accompanied by a photograph of the owner, Coba Diederiks, wearing the skirt including all four panels; with "Feb '58 Boy's High School" on the back. Filed with the invoice.

And a photograph of Walter Battiss (373 x 296) with details on the back: "Walter Battiss. Opening of exhibition at the S.A. Association of Arts [unreadable[, at the Old Netherlands Bank Building, Church Square, Pretoria. (Specs belonged to my grandmother) C.D.' [Coba Diederiks]. Filed in a separate A3 envelope. Also two letters from Jaff & Company Limited (Delswa) dated 10 & 25th January with correspondence with Grace Battiss concerning the fabric.
